According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, one in 10 dogs has less than optimal cardiovascular health. Bio-Cardio combines the unique antioxidant and cardio-protective qualities of CoenzymeQ10 (CoQ10) with the amino acid taurine, whose support for healthy cardiac function in cats is well established. In addition, other ingredients in Bio-Cardio include L-carnitine, which has been shown to improve appetite and exercise tolerance in dogs; vitamin E, which provides essential antioxidant activity in all tissues including the heart; and magnesium and potassium, which are necessary for healthy cardiac contractility and for maintaining a healthy heart rhythm.
